Jamaica is a beautiful and varied country with strong, proud people who taught me new levels of respect. The first four photos are of two abandoned houses outside Falmouth, Jamaica deroofed by Hurricane Gilbert. The surfaces were washed and weathered for years, altering the pigment. "I thought they were paintings” is a frequent comment.
